You know when a friend is in a hospital bed attached to a heart monitor telling him “Fight Club” director David Fincher is making “The Social Network” is… well it’s not the best of ideas. It scares the shit out of the nurses. Being one of Facebook’s 500 million friends this is one movie I am really looking forward to.
Sure it’s hyped but can you blame the media. We are speaking after all about a movie that talks of the dark side of Facebook’s rise to power and clearly “You don’t get to 500 million friends without making a few enemies”. Never has the Wall been more famous since Pink Floyd.
But on a very serious note we are talking of an awesome director and an equally brilliant writer Aaron Sorkin. Sharp humour combined with a storyline of betrayal, greed, obsession and sex, written to tell a tale of one of the most controversial rise to fame this century has seen. The story of Mark Zuckerberg founder, CEO and President of Facebook and at 26 the youngest billionaire in the world is yours to witness come 1st October (10th December in India).
